The Little Red Barn

The Little Red Barn is a special place located on beautiful Manor Lane in the heart of our quaint town of Jamesport. This beautiful and serene 40 acre property is owned by Kate and her family Frank, KathrynGrace and Von Blangiardo.

Kate has loved horses all her life and took her 1st horseback riding lesson at the age of 4 1/2. She decided to give back to the community and dreamed of a place on the beautiful North Fork where she was born and raised where children of all ages, toddlers and up, parents, grandparents, and their friends could all come visit and experience the beauty this quaint little niche that Eastern Long Island has to offer and the wonderful animals for all to enjoy!

Come see how they've made their private 40 acre farm into a great place for families.  Enjoy the family-friendly relaxing atmosphere!

Kate and her staff make sure kids and guests have a great time on the farm. Every program and event is made to be enjoyed on a secluded, peaceful bit of heaven.

Highly Recommend

This is a beautiful farm that offers so much. Three of our children have spent time here. The staff is so kind and supportive. I highly recommend it.

Balance

Counsellors were all really friendly and knowledgeable about horsemanship. The riding lessons themselves are one-on-one so your child has the opportunity to work on specific skills. It’s a great camp for kids who like a balance of structured and unstructured time.

Like Science

It's kind of like science, being outside and fun all together. Learning about the animals and how to take care of them is cool. And not just the horses. My favorite time is when we feed the goats.

I love the feeling of freedom at this camp and that you get time to do what you want.

Best Thing

The tie-dye t-shirt making was my best thing and I got to ride bare-back.

Favorite Thing

My favorite thing was grooming the horses and ponies. I also liked feeding the goats - the baby one is so cute!
